Review: Book'em Piper

Book'em Piper Book'em Piper by Danielle Norman
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Note: An ARC was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

So let’s start.

Writing - It had me all in. I was completely engrossed in this story and couldn’t seem to stop, even close to pulling an all out-nighter for this.

Cover -Swooning hard, literally in love.

Romance -Scorching and so sweet at times. Literally my heart melted in a puddle during their romantic declarations.

Personalities of characters -Liam’s personality was done well, with him having an explanation for every action he took and for what he felt, making him an admirable and relatable character to relate to.

Piper’s personality sucked. Literally sucked. She was shown as a strong, able to handle emotions and was fierce and loyal and smart. But later on, she’s portrayed more as a dumb blonde and not knowing when to be smart with her situation around Liam. That was a massive reason why I was compelled to drop this book, to DNF it. I really can’t help but get irritated when authors make their characters look like they’re bipolar, are suffering from a personality disorder...sigh. Really a massive disappointment to all my hours wasted on this novel.

The summary was okay but still not enough to give it another star. As for the characters overcoming their problems, clearly they both need development emotionally and personality wise.

Overall it’s not a recommend.

Until the next page,

-J.B
