Review: Twisted Circles

Twisted Circles Twisted Circles by Claire Contreras
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Holy shit, I am in love with Contreras's writing. So smooth, yet flowing beautifully. I was hooked from the first page and drawn to both MCS in an instant.

Eva is out to figure out what happened to her in the last few days after losing her memory. Some secret society is also eager to find out what Eva is doing on her doorstep and make it difficult for her to navigate the truth. Luckily Adam is also by her side, and his friends to figure out what is really going on.

There was just so much to love about this book, not just secret societies, but persevering and finding your own strength to forge a path, finding love along the way and letting nothing bring you down.

I am eager to read more from this author and hopefully more of this series as well.

Review: Laces

Laces Laces by Tempi Lark
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Another Note: This is part of a series. Laces is the first book. Up next is Lincoln. Please read in order to understand the context in each book. Thank you.

Honestly some insane characters exist in this hospital for the "mentally ill." Some truly frightening shenanigans happen. Resident Hannibal Sketcher is introduced aka Laces. And his group of sidekicks. And then there is Gambrielle, accused of something she has not done by one of her family members.

Truly an insane bunch and I loved every moment spending time with them. But the chemistry between Gambrielle and Laces is slightly difficult to adjust due to them slightly "not being each other's type", but I am sure things will get explained in the next book for sure.

This book will entertain the craziest and wackiest of minds for sure.

Until the next read,

Review: Abrupt Changes

Abrupt Changes Abrupt Changes by Karen Renee
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Note: An ARC was given generously in exchange for an honest review.

I hated Rae. Girl was beyond stupid and stubborn for her own good. I honestly thought Clint deserved better. And Rae's family was more tolerable and entertaining than her.

Sigh, I loved their chemistry. Even though I thought Clint and Rae were not a good match, but otherwise the romantic thriller aspects fit in well, and everything was all peaches and cream afterwards. I wish I could comment more on the romance part...but it just wasn't good, so yeah.

Until the next read,
