Review: My Favorite Mistake

My Favorite Mistake My Favorite Mistake by Claudia Y. Burgoa
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Note 2: This is a series. Please read in order, as they are interconnected.

Triggers: divorce, infidelity, pregnancies.

Well Cas is up to bat (not literally) to find his true soulmate (even though what a bonkers idea but I'll let it slide).

We have the intro between the main couple as they run into each other after mutual friends introduce them (no this isn't the harry and meghan show haha), and sparks fly. Despite them coming from different places and different ideas about life.

They have a one night stand, things end, people go separate ways, but apparently the second time around makes them something permanent: a married couple.

So how they deal with it is one hell of a ride for sure.

I loved this couple!

I can't pick favorites between any of my boys, honest to god. And I still can't. But I did love Cas too much at this point right now, so I can't help myself with him.

Plus his girl is also one of my favorites -could be my next favorite friend (not mistake haha).

I loved learning about them, separately and together - and how Cas took care of her - aww my heart melted -and maybe slightly wished I got a cas of my own *insert swoon*

Only reason this isn't a five stars - is I feel - they danced WAY LOT around each other than they should've have. This book should've definitely ended at 40 chapters, rather than add 6 more. Or hell even 35 chapters.

But overall, I loved learning about Cas, his family, his girl, his girl's family. I loved it all. The development was brilliant, the characters fun, the chemistry steamy and the confessions heartfelt. The drama maybe overstretched.

But loved this one so much - can't wait to read more by Claudia.

Until the next read,
TMR
