Review: Damaged Grumpy Daddy: An Enemies To Lovers Romance

Damaged Grumpy Daddy: An Enemies To Lovers Romance Damaged Grumpy Daddy: An Enemies To Lovers Romance by Blair Brown
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

OOH FUN FACT: This author is very famous in real life. Just search up Blair Brown.

Triggers: toxic relationships, drunken fights, trauma of a child (similar to freedom of Britney Spears movement).

This was a fun and intriguing read, specially it was so short considering that.

Now this book held a lot of promise, two lawyers fighting a case on opposite sides, after having had a one night stand together before.

But the plot twist of the case itself was unexpected but intriguing. Add in Paul's ex's illusions about him, and well we have a drama of a romance similar to maybe dynasty.

So I did like this book - writing, romance, steam, the case itself, I just didn't like the slight development of the characters towards the end, with regards to the plot twist of the case they are fighting for, and general assumptions about each other and their exes (it's the heroine's fault in assumptions here).

Otherwise the novel was a general fun one, and not too heavy on triggers or issues, just something to enjoy briefly.

Until the next read,
TMR
