Alright finally back to some reviewing - aye!
So we got this wonderful lovey dovey - never leaving s-xy good times behind- couple to star in this book - girl's got her own thing going on - guy was just doing his thing after a breakup. Usher (not musician) in age of tech also to play a big part here.
And since this author believes that this is still the 90s where people have time to hang out in person - we get this scenario where all the friends come up on a vacationing of a good time - and well passions flare, secrets come revealed or undone - best left to the pages read.
So I was very captivated up till a certain point. All about the secrets being revealed, character building, new romances entering the zone, and friend dynamics - cause holy wow even I was wishing I was this close to my peeps.
But after a while things just got dried up - or maybe it's my fault for staying away so long due to personal crap in life - same old s-xy routine, plot barely moving along to incorporate some conflict that may dot a couple's life. Characters were rarely re-introduced. If they were - just as easily shunned out as well - which was well just a loss of pages. And when a conflict did happen - it was on the most childish reasons ever. Luckily it was resolved quickly and reminded me that they are indeed adults.
And yup we got our HEA - big yay. And some teasing on some possible other stories - gotta love me cliffhangers. Tying it all up in a nice neat knot for all to sigh and say holla we really had a good time.
So it was a good time, but I probably won't be texting it again for another round.
Peace out (or until the next review)
TMR
