Review: Enter the Black Oak
Enter the Black Oak by Monique Edenwood
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Thrilling writing brilliant characters and a twisted but scorching in full heat plot make up for an amazing story overall in this dark paranormal romance!
I loved spending all my time with these characters and getting immersed in the setting, the writing hooking me in beyond doubt that it would be a book I’d never forget.
Until the next read,

Review: Outflanking the Flanker
Outflanking the Flanker by Nicole Phoenix
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
Note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I hate assumptions. I hate hot messes. I hate stupid characters who are judgmental and make up minds without logic.
And that’s what this book was. A hot mess at the end. I had so much hope for Andrew and Chloe but my god the amount of ping pong and confusion and judgmental convos they had at times pissed me off too much to continue this book.
The writing was okay but it could not salvage the characters. Or the plot line. So I dnfed it.
But I will read the second novel in hopes it’ll be better than this one.
Until the next read,
